Pneumatic Tactical Folding Charge Shield System (PTF-CSS)

Introduction

Weapon Design and Modeling for My Original Character Based on Arknights Worldview and Style.

This is my first project created using Maya, and I completed it while learning the software step by step.The background and character utilize UE public assets.

Inspiration

RWBY is one of my favourite games. The weapons and characters are well-designed. Ruby's weapon, the Crescent Rose, can be folded and transformed into different weapons.

What is a shield? 

The shield is seen as conservative, but my design shows it is aggressive. It lets the attacker attack without fear and makes the opponent feel like they're wasting their time. Make the opponent feel helpless.

I added extra propulsion to the shield while using shield dash to make it more active.

What's a "Shield"?

I had trouble finding reference drawings of shields at first.I noticed that the Wandering Earth film often featured various box- and plate-structured contraptions, while the door frame robots were equipped with shield plates. This made me think about what a shield is. A door, a wall, a fridge – all can be shields. As long as the idea is not too vague, anything can be a shield.
